Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
Setting up or cleaning up the tenant, moving from one to the other, mail routing, shared drives, licences.
Workplace and networks
The part of IT people actually touch every day. Accounts, laptops, phones, the shared drives, the Wi-Fi and the box in the cupboard that connects it all to the internet. We set it up once, properly, and keep it that way.
Nothing dramatic, which is the problem. Someone left in March and still has access. Half the laptops aren't encrypted. The guest Wi-Fi is the same network as the accounts server. The Microsoft 365 tenant was set up in a hurry five years ago and nobody has looked at it since.
What's included
Setting up or cleaning up the tenant, moving from one to the other, mail routing, shared drives, licences.
Windows, macOS and mobiles in Intune or Google's device management: disk encryption, updates, policies, and a remote wipe for the one left on the train.
A checklist for each, so a new person can work on day one and a departing one loses access the same day.
Firewall, separate networks for staff, guests and printers, business Wi-Fi, and VPN for people at home or a second office (WireGuard or IPsec).
Staff can raise a ticket and get a reply. You get a monthly overview of what came up.
What to buy, keeping track of what you have, warranties, and replacing things before they die.
